Comprises a corrected English translation of Books 2 and 3 of Epiphanius' Panarion; the first edition of this translation from ancient Greek was published in 1994 as volume 2 of The Panarion of Epiphanius of Salamis (Leiden ; New York : E.J. Brill, 1987-1994. (Nag Hammadi and Manichaean studies ; 35-36)). Book 1 of this corrected edition was published in 2009, as v. 63 of the series Nag Hammadi and Manichaean studies. Epiphanius ended Book 3 of his Panarion with a brief summary of the catholic faith as he understood it; this section of the Panarion is known as De fide. Includes bibliographical references and index.
